Listed below are awards and accreditations that Candela Controls, Inc. has been privileged to receive or over the years for out outstanding design and craftsmanship on some of today’s leading projects:

Themed Entertainment Association

The TEA annually presents its THEA award to projects whose achievement has been determined to be of “outstanding” quality.  

  • 2001 – Candela Controls was a recipient of the 8th annual THEA award for the lighting control system design and integration for the “Exploration in the New Millennium” attraction at The Kennedy Space Center.
  • 2002 – Candela Controls was a recipient of the 9th annual THEA award for the lighting control system design and integration for the show “Ireland (Castle O’Sullivan)” at Busch Gardens of Tampa Bay, FL.
  • 2003 – Candela Controls was a recipient of the 10th annual THEA award for the lighting control system design and integration for “Tomb Raider: The Ride” at Paramount’s Kings Island in Ohio.
  • 2005 – Candela Controls was a recipient of the 12th annual THEA award for the lighting control system design and integration for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum located in Springfield, IL.
  • 2007 – Candela Controls was a recipient of the 14th annual THEA award for the lighting control system design and integration for the “Shuttle Launch Experience” attraction at The Kennedy Space Center.

ARCHI-TECH and InfoComm International® annually present awards honoring the best audiovisual & architectural projects in the industry for that year.

  • 2010 – Candela Controls was a recipient of the annual ARCHI-TECH award for their work on the Carolina Herrera Flagship Boutique located at City Center in Las Vegas, NV. The project team consisted of A+I Design Corporation, Candela Controls, Inc., & Essential Communications.
